  • Joining a running group is an amazing way to stay active, meet new friends, and get to know a city.

I wanted to make it easier to discover cities locally and afar by surfacing the right running locations and clubs to athletes of all abilities.

    Where should I run?

The most universal question runners of all abilities share when entering a new city is that of where to run. Where can I go that’s near where I’m staying? Where is it safe to run? Where are the best views? The best trails?

    Club season

More experienced and competitive runners often expressed desire to connect with running clubs in different cities for more structured workouts, but they were difficult to find.

    Powered by the people

Running communities are only as strong as the people behind them. That’s why Hopdash is powered by the people. Using the Google Docs read/write API, I created a robust CMS to help power Hopdash with fresh city content submitted by people everywhere.
